Pricing for Murals
Murals are painted with a combination of latex and acrylic paint, then sealed with a clear, scrubbable coating to ensure longevity.
The murals are divided into 3 categories of difficulty:
Category 1 - simple cartoon shapes, minimal shading and detail. Mural cost is $10 per square foot. Cost of mock up, $200.
Category 2 - more involved drawing, shading and detail. See blue mural for PWCSA for an example. Mural cost is $20 per square foot. Cost of mock up, $400.
Category 3 - exceptional level of detail, shading and drawing. See the water mural for PWCSA for an example. Mural cost is $30 per square foot. Cost of mock up is $600.
All work requires a preliminary mock-up painting done to scale. This painting must be pre-paid and becomes the property of the customer whether or not the actual mural is commissioned. The fee for this includes all design work.
Pricing for Portraits
Portraits are painted in oil on high quality linen hand-stretched over heavy duty stretcher strips to prevent warping. The price is generally $1000 per subject and includes the choice of a finished or a plain painted background. Prices may vary due to exceptional size of the finished painting.
